Michael H. Buchal, P.A.-C. is licensed by the State of Michigan and certified by the American Academy of Physician's Assistants.  Mike received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin.  He also went on to earn a Master of Science in Exercise Physiology from George Williams College in Downers Grove, Illinois and a secondary Master of Science in the Physician’s Assistant Program at the University of Detroit Mercy.

Mike is licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision.  He sees patients at Michigan Heart Group, Michigan Heart Rhythm Group, Western Wayne Heart Group, and William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak and Troy.  Mike works along side your physician to make sure your treatment plan is followed as your physician has intended.  He obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, and then diagnoses, treats and monitors your disease.  You may also see Mike when being discharged from the hospital or on your first appointment back to our office after being discharged.  In addition Mike orders diagnostic tests and prescribes medications.  Our physician assistants are critical in hospital follow up care, blood pressure checks and medication adjustments.
