Anita M. Juriga, A.P.R.N., M.S.N. is licensed by the state of Michigan as a registered nurse and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Anita received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Master of Science in Nursing from Oakland University in Rochester.

Anita provides care under the supervision of a physician. She obtains medical histories and performs physical examinations. She will diagnose, treat and monitor chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, congestive heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias. She will also diagnose and treat acute problems such as chest pain and shortness of breath. Anita orders diagnostic tests, prescribes medications and other treatments in collaboration with the supervising physician. She also performs patient education and counseling.

Anita divides her time at Michigan Heart Group between seeing patients in the office and at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.
