Cheryl A. Vincent, M.S.N., A.P.R.N. is licensed by the State of Michigan and certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Adult Nurse Practitioner. Cheryl received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland in Baltimore and a Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University in Detroit where she completed the Nurse Practitioner Program. Cheryl provides high quality care under the supervision of a physician. She focuses on risk factor management and patient education. Cheryl obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations and diagnosis, treats and monitors chronic diseases such as high blood pressure, arrhythmia, high cholesterol, and congestive heart failure. She also diagnoses and treats acute health problems such as chest pain, shortness of breath and minor infections. In addition she orders diagnostic tests, prescribes medications and other treatments in collaboration with our supervising physicians. Cheryl promotes positive health behaviors and self-care skills through education and counseling.
